attorneys Katherine L. Harp email: kharp@boschlawfirm.com Ms. Harp joined the Bosch Law Firm, P.C. as an associate attorney on October 1, 2008. Prior to graduating from the University of Tennessee College of Law and being admitted to the Bar in 2006, Ms. Harp spent almost a decade working as a civil paralegal, primarily in the areas of construction law and general insurance defense. While in law school, Ms. Harp discovered her passion for the practice of criminal law, and now focuses much of her practice on defending the criminally accused. Ms. Harp also continues to build on her many years of civil experience by representing a wide variety of civil clients, both plaintiffs and defendants. In addition to her law degree, Ms. Harp holds a B.A. in English with a concentration in Technical Writing from the University of Tennessee, a paralegal certificate from the ABA-approved National Center in Atlanta, and certification from the Integral Yoga Institute as a Hatha Yoga instructor. She is a 1990 graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School in Kingsport, Tennessee. Ms. Harp is admitted to practice before the Tennessee Supreme Court, all Tennessee State and Appellate Courts, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee. While in law school, she was recognized for her extraordinary achievement in the Advocacy Clinic, participated in a selective externship at the Knox County Public Defender’s Community Law Office, and taught yoga to the faculty and staff. She is a member of the Knoxville Bar Association; the Executive Committee of the Knoxville Barristers, where she serves as Co-Chair of the Committee for Hunger and Poverty Relief; the American Inns of Court, Hamilton Burnett Chapter; the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers; the Tennessee Association for Justice; and the American Bar Association. |
